Larry Mazoway joined the club in May of 2016. Previously, Larry had flown with the Front Line Flyers before moving to Kennebunk.

Larry enjoys flying his Radian Pro and is also acquainted with our resident glider guru, Mark Higgins. Larry likes the availability of small electric motors so he can avoid having to use a High-Start to launch his sailplanes. Even Mark has been known to cut the nose off a sailplane and convert it to use an “iron thermal”.

At the field, Larry and Mark both expressed a reluctance to admit being acquainted with the other. 🙂 Larry will fit right in.
